Eviction: Uprooting the Spirit of Fear                    

        So, how long have you lived in fear? Shouldn’t the question be how long has fear lived in you? It you look at these two questions one might think or conclude that fear has become the owner and you the occupant of your very soul. How could this be? We entertain fear so much it becomes part of our every consideration. Before we consider any activity… What if, what if, what if…we come up with impossible scenarios just to hold ourselves back, because the fear that we’ve allowed to take over has silenced our faith; and all possibilities that were intended for us become impossibilities to us. It’s almost like we would rather die than to even try. If any of this is true of you, wouldn’t you want to make it the lie that it truly is?

        Fear has become the skyscraper that stands between us and the road to freedom. No one can remove this skyscraper for us because we’re the only one that sees it; and therefore, the only one that can remove it. Wait a minute! How can a structure be as large and high as a skyscraper, and we be the only one that sees it? Because we’re the only one that it’s real to. So, in the eyes of billions of others there is no physical evidence of our fears being real, other than our actions or reactions.

        Fear becomes a paralyzing reality for millions. We’ve been conditioned to conjure up our own demise by playing mental ping-pong without moving a muscle. We’ve literally made something out of nothing. This is the total opposite of faith (active verses reactive).

       In choosing our careers I would venture to say that none of us chose fear as a companion to bring along for the ride. Somehow, someway this parasite latched on and has taken up residency in the living rooms of our mind. Ouch!

       It is up to us to evict this demon with all malice and tenacity! Do you think you can afford housing  this liar any longer? A person doesn’t have to be spiritual or religious to understand that fear is a paralyzing evil, a spirit, that if left alone destroys its host. Can you see where I’m coming from? Good; because I’m going somewhere and I invite you to join me on this short, but powerful and liberating journey…

In order to reach your destiny, you will have to walk through the valley of the shadow of death, but you don’t have to go it alone… “Fear not for I AM with you I will never leave you or forsake you.”
