Younger me

 Dear Younger Me,

If you have to leave your best friend to become your best self, leave them. If you don't you may never know what a true best friend can be. You see, I had to become a best friend to me.

To tell what a best friend would say or do, I had to live it out while I was still you. To be who i am today I made some enemies along to way. All the old vices that held me down, did everything they could to keep the younger me around.

Here I am today the man God created me to be, leaving the past in the past even the younger me. Now, I am who I am but first, I became you and then you became me.
